The diversity of the Bavarian media landscape in a map
XPLR: Media in Bavaria is the guide for Bavaria as a media business location. A mapping of the media landscape shows the players clearly and quickly.
The media houses operating here are an important economic factor in Bavaria. A collected overview of the actors, classified by field of activity and with contact possibilities, was implemented as a map. For this, the XPLR: team obtained information from key companies and collected it in a database.
We created a structure in a joint workshop and created a design for the map.
We automatically linked the data to the knowledge map that was created and also provided an opportunity for other players in the sector to register themselves as well. However, this entry should not be fully automated, but implemented with an approval process.
Finally, an event calendar was added to the database and the map was integrated into the XPLR: website.
