Vifzack!

Knowledge maps for the classroom

VIFZACK! Knowledge maps show topics in a completely new way in the form of a digital map that can be “dived into” intuitively and interactively.

In modern working life, networked thinking is increasingly important. Simply operating machines is not enough – understanding the big picture is crucial. To teach students this, curricula are increasingly moving towards interdisciplinary, networked learning.

The Edugroup started building digital teaching material with KontextMaps in 2017. After receiving training from us, employees created knowledge maps on various topics on the specially created platform Vifzack! Vifzack is the Austrian term for someone who is on their toes, who knows the ropes.

For a map, the Edugroup team won a Comenius Edu Media medal and seal. (Congratulations!) The mappings  are used in school lessons in Austria. They offer pupils unique teaching material and help them to understand large, complex topics.
